Managing SMS Templates

  1. Go to:

    Settings > SMS Templates


  2. System templates:

    Your platform may include pre-set SMS templates labeled as "System".

    Automated Payment SMS Notifications - Sent automatically during membership payment processing (if active).

    Payment Link - Used when sending links for new orders or bookings with outstanding balances.

    Order Status Changed - Can be triggered automatically via online table ordering.

    System templates cannot be deleted but can be set to Inactive. Many include dynamic logic (e.g., {{#if ...}} ) to personalise content based on conditions like order status. Edit with caution—incorrect changes may result in incomplete or incorrect messages. Contact support if unsure.


  3. Create a new Custom Template:

    Click on: New Template

    Choose the template type: Bookings, Order, or Customers.

    Use the guide Settings - SMS Templates for help with setup.


  4. Maintaining Templates:

    Custom templates that have been used cannot be deleted. Set them to Inactive instead.

    System templates also cannot be deleted—use Inactive if no longer needed.
