Online Ordering
Last updated: May 10, 2026
Online table ordering allows customers to order food and drinks directly from their table using a digital device. It streamlines service, reduces wait times, and enhances convenience for both customers and staff. It utilises a POS Facility with 'Show Online' enabled to allow products to be sold online. An existing POS Facility can be used, or a new one (or more) can be created purely for online sales.
Determine Products for Online Ordering
- Decide which POS products you want to offer for sale online
- Organise these products into categories and subcategories for a clear, user-friendly display
Plan the layout and flow to make the ordering process simple and intuitive for customers.
Configure a POS Facility
Either create a new POS Facility or modify an existing one to be available online by setting the variable Show Online to Yes.
