How to Set Up a POS Facility with a Temporary URL for Secure Preview

Thoroughly testing before going live ensures a seamless user experience, identifies and fixes issues, minimises errors, and enhances customer satisfaction for smoother operations.

When setting up a new POS Facility for online ordering (or amending an existing POS Facility previously only used in your venue), you can easily use the preview function in the POS Facility to achieve this.



Navigate to Operations —> POS Facilities and select the POS Facility to edit



  1. Scroll down to the Online Ordering section, and set SHOW ONLINE to NO and enter a URL code:


  1. Scroll back to the top, and click on View Online:

A temporary preview URL will be generated, valid for the same day, with a new link generated every 24 hours.
