Overview

The Survey Email feature in Venue Sumo allows you to automatically send a follow-up email to customers after they have attended their booking. This is an ideal way to collect feedback, gather reviews, or direct customers to a post-visit survey of your choice.

This feature is inactive by default and must be activated before use.


Key Features

  • Automated scheduling – Set your survey email to send automatically at a time of your choosing (e.g. the following day at 8:00am).
  • Customisable email content – Tailor the email body to suit your venue's tone and branding.
  • Flexible survey links – Include a link to any survey platform, such as Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or similar.
  • Third-party integrations – Integrations are available with AskNicely and Zomka, these can be purchased separately.

How to Activate

The Survey Email feature must be enabled before it can be used. To activate scheduled survey emails and request custom email content, please contact the Venue Sumo support team:

Include the following in your email:

  • Your venue name and account details
  • A request to activate the scheduled survey email feature
  • Your preferred email content (or a request for a template)
  • The survey link you would like included in the email

Sending a Survey Email Manually

If you would like to send a survey email to a specific customer without waiting for the scheduled send, you can do so directly from the booking:

  1. Open the relevant booking in Venue Sumo.
  2. Locate the Survey Email option.
  3. Select Send to dispatch the email immediately.

Scheduling Automatic Survey Emails

Once activated, you can configure the survey email to send automatically after a booking is completed:

  1. Contact support@venuesumo.com to enable and configure the scheduling settings.
  2. Specify your preferred send time (e.g. next day at 8:00am).
  3. Confirm your email content and survey link.
  4. Once configured, the email will send automatically to customers following their booking.
