New Features

Facility management

Blocked capacity from the Pools calendar

Authorised staff can add, edit and remove capacity blocks for lanes, rooms or other availability-pool units directly from the Pools calendar in Back Office (Orders > Capacity > Pools calendar) or POS (Operations > Pools Calendar). Calendar entries show sold, blocked and available capacity together, and the calendar’s time-slot interval can be adjusted.

  • Requires the Add Blocked Capacity From Calendar permission on the Back Office user or POS login. For POS, Show Pools Calendar must also be enabled on the POS facility and the pool must be available in POS.

  • Blocks default to a quantity of one and require a comment.

  • Calendar edit and delete apply only to single-day, single-pool blocks that are not linked to an event. Multi-day, multi-pool or event-linked blocks continue to use the existing blocked-capacity screens.

Bookings

Earliest Booking in days, hours and minutes

Facilities can now define minimum online booking notice as a combination of days, hours and minutes, rather than whole days only. The value is set per facility under Operations > Facilities > Earliest Booking.

  • Existing whole-day values are converted automatically during the update.

  • A blank value means no restriction. An all-zero value is invalid and will not save.

  • Notice is calculated in the facility’s local time zone. Staff availability in Back Office and POS may differ from what the Booking Site shows.

Back Office

Advanced POS product search

Operations > POS Products gains an Advanced search that filters by Printer Group / Station (including Not Set) and finds products missing images, descriptions, stock details, recipe cards, categories, revenue splits, GL accounts or cost centres. Filters can be combined or cleared individually.

Improvements

Kitchen Display System

Mobile layouts and refresh recovery

  • Station and Expo screens now adapt to portrait, landscape and changing mobile browser heights, with card columns and rows configurable per login under Settings > Logins.

  • Stalled polling requests clear automatically after a temporary network or service interruption.

  • A Refresh orders action reloads the queue without a full page reload.

  • Expired sessions return staff to the login page instead of leaving KDS on an error screen.

  • Standalone booking, voucher, membership, tip and card orders are kept out of Expo, while mixed orders retain the relevant items.

Payments

Wallets, payment links and provider reliability

  • Adyen Apple Pay no longer forces an additional 3D Secure challenge. Requires existing Adyen Apple Pay setup on a supported Apple device or browser.

  • Adyen Google Pay retries reuse the same transaction and provider reference, so a cancelled payment can no longer create a duplicate or remain permanently pending.

  • Payment links Eligible Back Office payment links can offer Apple Pay and Google Pay. Wallets remain hidden where reusable token storage is required, including some membership workflows.

  • Windcave Apple Pay now passes the successful outcome to the wallet sheet before checkout closes, and scripts load in the required order.

  • Windcave Merchant names are shortened to the provider’s 64-character limit so long company and location names no longer break wallet payments.

  • Fat Zebra Payment-verification amounts are rounded consistently; no setting change is needed.

  • Bank account The complete payment form is validated before submission, with field-level errors for missing customer or account details.

Fixes

Kitchen Display System

  • Rush and Park now appear only for orders in a status where the action is valid.

Bookings

  • Company and postcode fields appear on online payment pages when venue settings request them.

  • POS booking add-ons that increase for every N guests now use the configured quantity interval.

Payments

  • Fat Zebra Payments no longer fail because of amount-rounding differences.

  • All providers Surcharged booking payments no longer leave a small outstanding balance.

  • Expired or completed Back Office order sessions show a controlled message instead of an error.

Back Office

  • Editing customer details on an order no longer fails when optional company or country fields are hidden.

  • The Groups Run Sheet report runs correctly where the previous report definition was out of date.

After Updating

  • Review converted Earliest Booking values on every facility that previously used a whole-day notice. If near-term sessions disappear from the Booking Site, check the lead time against the facility’s local time.

  • Blocked-capacity action missing? Assign Add Blocked Capacity From Calendar to the user or POS login. For POS, also enable Show Pools Calendar on the facility and confirm the pool is available in POS.

  • KDS appears frozen? Select Refresh orders, confirm the session is still active and check the network. Test portrait and landscape layouts on the devices used during service.

  • Wallet option missing? Confirm the gateway, browser or device, merchant setup and whether the workflow requires token storage.

  • Product missing from search results? Clear any active Advanced Search filters and review Printer Group / Station.
