Utilising Future Date Prompts for Facility Bookings

Setting up a future date prompt for facility bookings enhances user convenience by allowing them to book multiple sessions at once, ensuring a consistent schedule. This feature helps users plan their time effectively and secure spots in popular facilities, making the booking process smoother and more efficient.


Future Date Prompts may be enabled for use in the public interface or within the admin portal; however, they are not available in the POS system.


  1. Go to:

    Operations > Facilities


  2. Select the relevant Facility:

    Within the details section, scroll down to the Prompt for Future Bookings


  3. Configure the Variables:

    Refer to the Operations - Facilities guide for detailed explanations of each setting.

  1. How will it look on the Booking Site?


    When a customer adds a product configured for Future Date bookings to their cart, they will see a list of all available future dates based on the settings. They can uncheck any date that they don't want and then they will have the option to "Add Additional Dates" or decline by clicking 'No thanks'.


    They will be notified an any dates that cannot be added:

    If they proceed to checkout, each date will be listed separately. The customer can choose to remove any dates they don't want:

    5. How will it look in the Back Office (Admin)?

    If the facility is configured to have future booking prompts in ADMIN, Staff have the option to 'Add additional dates.' If they do not wish to add certain dates, they must manually uncheck each unwanted date.
