How to make a sale on the POS


1. Open your POS using your unique URL. 


2. Click the item that you would like to sell. 



3. Choose any modifer Options that are configured for that item (ask the guest!).


Click "Save" to continue. 



4. What does each button on the order summary mean?

"No sale" = The Cash Drawer can be opened without making a sale by tapping on the 'No Sale' button

"Park sale" = allows you to park the current transaction to the "Parked" page, so that you can complete another sales order, then come back to the current order.

"[print icon]" = prints the receipt of the previous sale


"Add Contact Details" = allows you to add the guests "First Name", "Last Name", "Phone", "Email" and gives you the option to "Send an email to the customer". 

"Add Table/Stand" = allows you to asign a table/stand number to the order. (Table/Stand can be set to mandatory by venue manager).

"Add Note" = allows you to add a note to the ticket for the person preparing the order. (Add Note can be set to mandatory by venue manager)


"- 1 +" field = allows you to increase or decrease the quantity of the product selected.

"[pencil icon]" Modifiers = allows you to edit the modifiers 

"[note icon]" = Add a note to the particular sale item

"[bin icon]" - delete the product from the order. 


"Discount +" = allows you to apply a preset Discount. 

"Checkout" button = allows you to finalise the order and move to payment. 

"Quick charge" button (next to Checkout) - When the payment terminal is integrated an optional button to initiate full payment



5. Choose the payment method for the transaction from:

  • Card
  • Cash
  • Git Card
  • Add to Tab


6. For "Pay with Cash" select the tendered amount using the buttons and click "Pay in Full" to finalise.


7. "Pay with Card" will automatically default to the total amount due. 


If you need to split a payment between "card" and another option, enter the amount to be paid on card.


The "C" button will clear the "Pay now" amount to "$0" if you need to start again. 


The "R" button will reset the "Pay now" amount to the "Total due". 


8. Pay with Gift Card

Choose payment method "Gift card / Session voucher


This will prompt the user to "Enter voucher code", once done click "Search" to find a voucher.


In the example below a "10 x session pass" voucher was selected and now you can select how many visits you would like to apply to this order. 


Click "Apply" button to redeem the voucher. 


Clicking "Cancel" button will return the user to the "Gift Card / Session Voucher Payment" search page.
