Creating different Membership Pause and Cancellation reasons isn’t essential but can help you identify patterns like travel, injury, or financial stress.


Type Must select either Membership Cancellation or Membership Pause
Reason Enter the reason for pausing or canceling the membership (e.g., moving away, injury, financial reasons, vacation)
Other

Click the Other button to toggle this setting.

  • Orange means the reason will prompt the user to enter additional information in a blank "Other" field.
  • Grey means the "Other" field will not be shown when selecting this reason.

Example:

If the reason selected is "Dissatisfied with Service," enabling the Other field allows the user to explain specifically why — such as "facility cleanliness," "customer service issues," or "class availability."

Active

Click the Active button to toggle the status of the reason.

  • Green means the reason is active and available for selection.
  • Grey means the reason is inactive and hidden from users.
