CBA Powerboard: How to Get Your Credentials to Set Up CBA Powerboard in Venue Sumo

To integrate the CBA Powerboard online gateway with your Venue Sumo platform, you’ll need to obtain the necessary credentials from your CBA Powerboard portal.

These credentials include your:

  • Gateway ID;
  • Public Key; and
  • Secret Key.

Here’s how you can get these credentials and set up CBA Powerboard as a payment gateway in Venue Sumo:

Step 1: Obtain Your CBA Powerboard Credentials

1.1 Access the PowerBoard Merchant Dashboard

1.2 Get the Public and Secret Keys

  • Once logged in, click on the ‘My Company’ link.
  • Navigate to the ‘API and Settings’ section.
  • On this page, you will find your Public Key and Secret Key. These keys are necessary for sending requests to the PowerBoard API.

1.3 Obtain the Gateway ID

  • To find your Gateway ID, go to your Merchant Portal.
  • Select Services from the menu and proceed to Connected Services.
  • The Gateway ID will be listed here, and you will need it for the integration.

Step 2: Add CBA Powerboard as a Payment Gateway in Venue Sumo

2.1 Log in to Your Venue Sumo Account

  • Navigate to your Venue Sumo admin panel.

2.2 Go to the Payment Gateways Section

  • In the admin panel, go to Settings > Location > Payment Gateways.

2.3 Add New Payment Gateway

  • Click on "Add New Payment Gateway".
  • In the filter options, select "Payment Gateway API" and choose CBA PowerBoard from the list.

2.4 Enter Your Credentials

  • You will now be prompted to enter the following credentials:
    • Gateway ID: Copy the Gateway ID you obtained from your Merchant Portal.
    • Public Key: Copy the Public Key from the PowerBoard Merchant Dashboard.
    • Secret Key: Copy the Secret Key from the PowerBoard Merchant Dashboard.

2.5 Save Your Settings

  • After entering the credentials, save your settings to complete the integration process.

Step 3: Test the Integration

Once you’ve entered your CBA Powerboard credentials, it’s important to run a real test transaction to ensure that the integration is working smoothly. You should also test a refund from the Backoffice.

If everything is set up correctly, your CBA Powerboard payment gateway will be ready for use.
