How to add Directions URL in Location Settings

Follow these steps to obtain the correct Google Map URL to add to the DIRECTIONS URL field in Venue Sumo:

1. Search for Your Business on Google:
   • Open your web browser and go to Google.
   • Type your business name or address in the search bar.

   • Make sure to search for your correct business listing.

     
     
2. Click on the Map:

   • Once your business appears in the search results, click on the map that shows your location. This will open up a detailed view of your business and its location on Google Maps.

     
     
3. Bring Up Your Business on the Map:

   • In the map view, find your business listing. You should see the name of your business, address, and other details.

     
     
4. Click on 'Share':

   • On the left-hand panel of the map, locate and click the "Share" button. This will open a window with options for sharing your business location.

     
     
5. Copy the Link for Sharing:
   • In the "Share" window, under the section titled "Link for sharing," you will see a URL.

   • Click on the Copy Link button. This will copy the Google Map URL to your clipboard.

     
     
6. Paste the Link into the DIRECTIONS URL Field in Venue Sumo:
   • Go to Venue Sumo and navigate to Settings > Locations > Details.

   • Locate the DIRECTIONS URL field and paste the copied Google Map URL into the field.

     
     
7. Save Your Changes:
   • Make sure to save the changes to your location settings.

Now, when customers click on the DIRECTIONS URL in Venue Sumo, they will be directed to the Google Map with your business location!
