Enable Integrated Surcharging = On – Surcharge fees will apply if setup in the Tyro portal
Auto Print Receipts = Enable this setting to automatically print customer receipts after each transaction.
Auto Print Merchant Receipts = Enable this setting to automatically print a merchant copy of the receipt after each transaction, providing a record for the business without requiring manual printing.
Once the above step is completed, you will have a Payment Terminal that is "NOT CONNECTED"
Link the payment terminal to the POS Login
Update the PAYMENT TERMINAL field to the terminal created in the previous step.
When done correctly, the CONNECTED TO column will display the PAYMENT TERMINAL you have linked.
Pair the Tyro terminal in the POS
If you have completed the steps above correctly, you will now see a "Settings" icon within the POS. (Note - If the POS terminal login is not connected to a Tyro Payment terminal in the Back office then the Settings menu will not show in the POS)
Navigate to Settings and enter the Supervisor PIN.
Navigate to "Configure Payment Terminal"
Select the appropriate Tyro terminal and follow the instructions to start the pairing process on the terminal.
Enter the Merchant ID and Terminal ID displayed on the Tyro terminal and select Authorize.
DO NOT select “Test”. The terminal is not yet paired and any test will fail.
If the pairing is successful the POS will immediately display a Pairing Successful message and the Tyro terminal is now integrated and ready to start transacting
