How to create and adjust capacity pools
"Pools" in VenueSumo is a way to catergorise spaces and allocate those spaces:
- Time
- Max quanity off particpants
- Intervals
- To do this go to Settings > Locations > "Pools" tab
- Choose a Pool you would like to edit or create a new pool by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking "New Pool"
Fields include:
Name = Name of pool
Tag = Groups the pools in bookings calendar
Prioritiy = Display order of the pools
Session Type = Days, Hours or minutes (Minutes are highly recomended)
Interval = (x) amount of time between sessions
Defaulty Quanity = Max amount of people in that pool per interval
Low Quanity Warning = Message that displays at the booking site at the (x) amount of space left
Overbooking Quanity =How many spaces managment is allowed to overbook
Show Pool = If on, the pool will show in bookings calendar
Per Booking = If on, only 1 of this pool will reserve per booking (useful for party rooms etc)
Fixed times = If the pool is something that happens at sparratic times and not interval based you can manually allocate times
Allocations= If yes, admin can allocate spaces in this pool (e.g Party room 1, Party room 2)
- Don't forget to save your changes and allocate a facility to your new pool!
