How to add a new POS facility

VenueSumo's Point of Sale (POS) facilites are the different variations of POS's you can have around your venue. For example "Admissions Only", "Cafe", "Kiosk", "Food Truck 1' would be all different POS facilites.


  1. To set up a new POS Facility go to Operations > POS Facilities > + New POS Facility


Mandatory fields include:

  • Name = Name of POS Facility
  • Location = Multi-location venues need to select the location in where the facility is

Other Fields:

  • Default view = When logging into the POS in store this setting will decide the home page, e.g checkins, admission, products
  • Stop sell (If YES) = The POS facility exists, but is not active
  • Stop sell (If NO) = The POS facility is active in venue
  • Show check in = The POS facility allows check ins to be made
  • Show Tabs = The POS facility allows tabs to be created
  • Show add customer = The POS facility allows new customers to be created
  • Show stand = The POS facility allows table numbers to be implemented into the system
  • Enforce stand = The POS facility enforces the table stand before completing order
  • Enforce note = The POS facility enforces a note before completing order
  • Show gift voucher = The POS facility allows gift vouchers to be purchased
  • Show session voucher = The POS facility allows session vouchers to be purchased
  • Show bookings = The POS facility allows bookings to be looked up
  • Auto print terminal reciept = The POS facility automatically prints out receipts to the EFTPOS terminal
  • Log out operator after sale = The POS facility forces a pin entry after every purchase
